Born, raised, still-living-in NYC with a long, Italian last name I won't try to make you pronounce, so
call me Kara.
I grew up immersed in dance and the arts, embedding myself with entertainment, culture, and sports. Studying acting, film,
business meant a career in production was a natural fit.
Now working as a producer for 10 years, my approach to work has always been clear - set the bar high and bring a vault. Go higher. Commit to excellence, organize meticulously, lead with kindness and affability, do it all with joy, because how fortunate are we to create a lasting-something that is far greater than us.
I launched my career at Viacom (MTV & TVLand), coordinated live and prerecorded unscripted television, and caught the early wave of navigating the digital media landscape at Derek Jeter's The Players' Tribune. I now continue to produce digital content beyond The Players' Tribune for publishers like Sports Illustrated and Sports Illustrated Swimsuit.
I spent the last 7 years executing branded content campaigns, events and architecting processes in an evolving business. I have honed my ability to oversee complex productions across various formats (television, digital video, podcasts, events). My expertise spans the full production lifecycle from budgeting, scheduling, logistics, vendor negotiations, risk assessments, post-production management, and financial wrap-out, all while ensuring seamless execution and strategic alignment with company and creative objectives. Whether managing multimillion-dollar budgets, spearheading high-profile shoots, or mentoring production staff, I approach every challenge with a level head - every challenge has a solution, you just haven't found it yet.
